It is always interesting to follow this amazing story and see Job's heart toward God in the midst of suffering, the council of his friends and satans ruthless attacks.
How often do you hear, in 'friends of today,' very similar advice and assessments of God's workings...?
How often are we able to keep a clear perspective about the goodness of God in the midst of suffering?
And he said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; Blessed be the name of the LORD.” In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong. (Job 1:21-22)
